2) This 1970 Chevrolet Corvette has the 454 Big Block with 390 horsepower. The car has had a full body off bumper to bumper restoration within the past few years and is in excellent condition. The exterior color is the original Chevrolet Cortez Silver. The interior is black leather. The car has an automatic 3 speed transmission, working air conditioning, original AM/FM radio, fiber optics on center console that work, T-Top with removable rear window. It also has power steering and power brakes. The car is in excellent condition. The motor was rebuilt when the body off restoration was done. The underside of the car is extremely clean with new suspension, brakes, fuel tank, and steering components. The motor is numbers matching. The interior is all original and in excellent shape. Someone just pointed out that the paint/trim codes don't match the cortez silver and black leather interior. I justed checked, and they are correct. Apparently the original color was bronze with saddle interior so the interior is not all original. I was told by the previous owner that the engine was numbers matching, but can only state that the picture showing the numbers is at the top passenger side of the motor and is not a picture of the block number. 11,500 miles. POWER BRAKE BOOSTER 2 45A 9092 (APRIL 2nd, 1969). BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER IS GM PART #5480346. TRANSMISSION IS THE TURBO 400 HYDRA-MATIC AUTOMATIC. REAREND 3.08:1 STANDARD 1CAW 7 20 70 W (JULY 20th, 1970 WITH CASTING DATE OF MARCH 16th, 1970). THIS CAR HAS OPTIONAL FACTORY AC, POWER STEERING, POWER BRAKES, CUSTOM LEATHER INTERIOR TRIM PACKAGE AND FACTORY AM/FM STEREO RADIO (THAT WAS RESTORED LESS THAN 1,000 MILES AGO INCLUDING SPEAKERS). THIS CAR HAS THE FIBER OPTICS THAT HAVE BEEN RESTORED LESS THAN 1,000 MILES AGO ALSO. IT HAS ORIGINAL ASTRO VENT SIDE WINDOWS AND THE RACING SHOULDER 'HARNESS' BELTS. EVERYTHING ON THIS CAR HAS BEEN ADDRESSED DURING THE RESTORATION (EITHER IT HAS BEEN RESTORED, REBUILT, REPLACED OR REFURBISHED) INCLUDING SEATBELTS BY SSNAKE OYL IN TEXAS AND MUCH OF THE FINAL FINISH UP BY CORVETTE MIKE'S IN ANAHEIM, CA. THE MOTOR, CHASSIS AND TRANSMISSION WHERE DONE BEFORE I TOOK OVER (NOT SURE WHY THEY DID THE ENGINE BUILD UP THE WAY THEY DID BUT IT IS A AWESOME SET UP THAT WILL ALLOW THIS CAR TO GO THRU THE PACES LIKE A ROCKET). THE EXTERIOR IS CORTEZ SILVER (I FOUND THIS COLOR WAS HARDER TO PHOTOGRAPH THAN MOST). SOME PHOTOS SHOW WELL THE NEAR FLAWLESS BODY AND PAINT AND, IN SOME PHOTOS THE PAINT APPEARS DULLER. THE ONLY FLAWS WE HAVE NOTICED IS A TINY SPOT ON THE TOP LEFT FRONT FENDER (IF YOU SQUINT JUST RIGHT WITH THE RIGHT LIGHT YOU CAN SEE IT - I NEVER NOTICED UNTIL THIRD WEEK I OWNED CAR), A PINHEAD SIZE CHIP ON THE RIGHT FRONT FENDER WHEELWELL (TOUCHED UP) AND A SMALL SCRATCH (APP. 1/2" ON LEFT REAR FENDER CORNER (UNDER/BEHIND BUMPER). THE INTERIOR IS THE OPTIONAL CUSTOM LEATHER INTERIOR TRIM PACKAGE IN BLACK LEATHER. EVERYTHING ON THIS CAR WORKS NICE, RIGHT DOWN TO THE CLOCK. IF NOT THE BEST, IT IS ONE OF THE BEST 1970 BIG BLOCK CORVETTE COUPES ON THE MARKET FOR SALE AT THIS TIME. SINCE THE RESTORATION THIS CAR HAS ONLY BEEN 'DUSTED' AND HAS NEVER BEEN WASHED WITH WATER NOT EVEN ONCE (THE GUY I OBTAINED THE CAR FROM STARTED WITH JUST 'DUSTING' AND WE JUST CONTINUED). THERE IS JUST UNDER $29,000.00 IN RECEIPTS IN THE RECEIPT BOOK WHICH IS INCLUDED. THIS BOOK ALSO CONTAINS A LOT OF INFO ON THIS CORVETTE AND THE 1970 CORVETTES IN GENERAL. ALSO INCLUDED (AS NOTED ABOVE) IS THE ORIGINAL USED INTAKE MANIFOLD, ORIGINAL USED WATER PUMP, A CUSTOM DEALER WINDOW STICKER FOR THIS CAR, VINYL T-TOP STORAGE COVERS (FOR WHEN THE T-TOPS ARE NOT IN USE), REPRODUCTION OWNERS MANUAL AND A COVERCRAFT CORVETTE CAR COVER. AT THE TIME WE DROVE AWAY FROM CORVETTE MIKE'S WE WHERE TOLD THAT IF THIS CAR WAS ON CORVETTE MIKE'S SHOWROOM FLOOR IT WOULD BE PRICED SOMEWHERE FROM $50,000.00 TO $55,000.00.
